Mission Statement

The Montana Learning Center at Canyon Ferry Lake will provide and promote quality immersion experiences for all in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in a unique lakeside environment.

Vision Statement

The Montana Learning Center at Canyon Ferry Lake (MLC) will be the Montana center for STEM learning and teaching which expands and extends the traditional education provided by school curricula and state or federal mandates.  MLC will assist in building a world in which students and adults (particularly teachers) use STEM understandings to:

  * problem solve
  * implement processes of discovery and inquiry
  * inspire others to wonder about and appreciate our natural world
  * conserve natural resources and utilize renewable resources
  * make good personal decisions
  * stimulate a life-long learning process.

Send student name, parent name and address to MLC. A congratulatory, encouraging letter including your name will be sent to the student's home along with a summer camps brochure.  Scholarships available.  NO arm twisting! Information goes to: pchriske@montanalearning.org.

What We Do Best

We have amazing advisors, board members, instructors, and supporters but, that isn't what we do best. What we do best is provide programs where students and teachers immerse themselves in a learning experience that they will remember for a lifetime.
